C.T. Patterson Scholarship for Excellence
Honoring Legacy Through Education
The C.T. Patterson Scholarship for Excellence was established to provide financial assistance to deserving students connected with the Wado-Ryu community. This scholarship reflects the Federation’s commitment not only to karate training, but also to character, discipline, education, and service beyond the dojo.
The scholarship is intended to help support continued education after high school, including attendance at an accredited four-year college, junior college, or vocational/technical school.
Scholarship Overview
Purpose
The purpose of the C.T. Patterson Scholarship for Excellence is to provide financial assistance to either a Wado student, or possibly the child of a Wado student, as determined by the Scholarship Committee.
The scholarship is designed to help fund the recipient’s post-high school education at an accredited four-year college, junior college, or vocational/technical school.
